Sheepscombe is set in a valley surrounded by typical Cotswold countryside, much of the land owned by the National Trust or English Nature, and within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are numerous hiking, horse-riding and cycling paths, and the Cotswold Way is close by.
WALKS
There are many footpaths in the area within easy reach. An excellent source of inspiration for walks can be found from the Little Cotswold Walks series of booklets, downloadable from this link. Each walk in this series is circular and ends up at a pub.
The woods surrounding the village are wonderful to walk in: please follow the marked trails, usually shown by a yellow arrow.
